Grown up Halloween Card

Posted on

Happy Halloween everyone!

I wanted to share with you a Halloween card that is a more adult style but still captures the holiday.  I used the retired Halloween paper that you can still get in the clearance rack here.  I adhered it on the diagonal with the poem phrases in logical order.  It kinda makes me think of crime scene tape.  I just used a glitter tape to fill in the spaces between the poem lines for some bling.   The lacey spider webby circle was cut with the edge to edge cartridge on the Explore.  I can’t believe how well the tiny details cut.  The stamp sets come from the Regarding Dahlias,  the September Paper Pumpkin kit and Borderettes (inside card).

Remembering Your Birthday card

Posted on

Here is a birthday card made with the Remembering Your Birthday stamp set and Cricut Cindy Loo cartridge. I am not a big owl person but I thought this owl was super cute.  The Remembering Your Birthday stamp set is great because it has a sentiment for the outside that continues to the inside.  It is on page 59 of the current catalog. The card base is pool party and the owl is chocolate chip cardstock.  It is inked in chocolate chip as well.  This color was the first ink pad I ever bought from SU and I fell for it immediately.  The ribbon and background papers are randoms from my stash. “You’re Wonderful” stamp set just released!

Check out this brand new stamp set from Stampin’ Up!   I think the Wonderful stamp would be great used on the inside of cards.  I always struggle with the inside sentiment especially if I put the “Happy Birthday” on the outside. (Think- Amazing, Wonderful, You)  This set only comes in photopolymer and can be purchased from me here.  You’re Wonderful wonderful

Mosaic Madness Birthday Card

I am lovin’ this Mosaic Madness set!  These shapes are trendy right now and there is so much versatility with these stamps.  Here is an A2 size birthday card I put together while playing with this set.  Love the bold colors, I think it gives it a more Moroccan feel.IMG_0704
