Downhill sled ride to Christmas
It always seems there is plenty of time until the holidays until after Halloween and you realize you only have 8 short weeks to get everything done. Now that the wedding is over and things are starting to slow down, I can get into my Christmas card making. I did work on one small project last week. A cheap $4 clock from the dollar store, modge podge, scrap paper and now I have a new clock for my craft room. I got the idea from a great tutorial over at endless possibilities blog. I made a few modifications and I think it came out perfect for my craft room. One note, the cover does not fit back on after you modge podge the paper on, but it doesn’t really bother me.
- Clock with the modge podge completed.
- Sizing and cutting the clock face. I was hoping my cricut would cut it but the size always came out a little off.
- A good trick for getting the hour gems placed correctly, is to count off every 5 ticks of the second hand. On the fifth, place your gem.
